Alison Henderson, chamber CEO said: "We’re thrilled that Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce has been shortlisted. Businesses tell us that paying the Real Living Wage helps with staff retention, recruitment, and morale. We also know it’s not easy with the rising costs of doing business.”

“We’re proud to play an active role in Dundee’s Living Wage Action Group and be a champion for initiatives like this that help the lowest paid within our economy get a much needed step up at a time when the cost of living crisis is very real and there are pockets of real poverty in our city."

The Circle CIC, an award winning 'More Than Profit' organisation who support businesses to make a difference to communities, has also been shortlisted for the Outstanding Leadership Award 2022.

This award celebrates employers who consistently demonstrate leadership through actions such as: working to encourage others to become accredited as Living Wage employers, speaking out publicly on the real Living Wage, and going above and beyond the scope of the accreditation licence criteria.
