MEMBERS of the 1st Monifieth Company Boys’ Brigade, who brought swimming honours to the burgh in 1989 when they virtually swept the boards in the annual City of Dundee Battalion Gala.

Pictured with their impressive array of trophies are, from left - Kenneth Ramsay, Stephen Oliver, Doug Coull, Alistair Grieve, Christopher Finan, Stuart Mills, Keith Ramsay and Andrew Stevenson.

The boys won the junior championship, the senior championship and the overall team event.
