Those taking part were involved in a wide range of activities and classes linked to good health - from using the wind surfing simulator, talks by the police on personal safety and information about damage to the body by drugs, alcohol, smoking and
the sun.

The school sports heats and finals also took place last week and many lessons in subject classes had health as their topic.
Pupils were given a health diary to complete which focused their thoughts on what they did in and out of school that affected their health and some produced food for a healthy tuck shop that was manned by class representatives each day.
BRONZE OUTING: A group comprising 14 third-year pupils from Carnoustie High School were at Crombie Country Park on Thursday for a Duke of Edinburgh bronze training day.

These training days are vital in preparing the pupils for the expedition part of the Duke of Edinburgh course which will involve outdoor activities and students must be able to feed themselves and camp outdoors.
STOCK MARKET CHALLENGE: Second year pupils are involved in a Stock Market Challenge yesterday and today (Friday).
This is a House event with the representatives from each house split into three teams.
Starting with an initial investment of £100,000, the aim of the game is to try to make as much profit as possible from buying and selling shares and trading in the dollar. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team from each house and there will be an overall house champion.
Staff have also been encouraged to form a team and it will be interesting to see who has the better grasp of finances.
NEW TIMETABLE: The school is due to start the new timetable on Monday, June 2, by which time fourth-year pupils will have returned from study leave.
