In January, 1987, Colour Sergeant Michael Watson of the Carnoustie Black Watch detachment of the Army Cadet Force, attended a ceremony at Brechin Castle where he was presented with the Lord Lieutenant's Cadet Certificate by the Earl of Dalhousie, Lord Lieutenant of Angus.
Our picture shows, from left - Lieutenant Dave Anderson, Carnoustie Black Watch Detachment commander; Mr A.M. Watson, Colour Sergeant Watson, Lord Dalhousie, Mrs Watson and Major Jack Diplexcito, company commander.
