Down Memory Lane September 14, 2012

editorial image

IN AUGUST of 1990 a concert was held in the Carnoustie branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society to fund research into the disease.

Our picture shows the entertainers who took part. They are, from left, back - Willie Duthie, George Muir and Abe Cull.

Front - Karen Harper, Ann Brown, Janet Robertson and Stewart Brown.

Contributions for the ‘Down Memory Lane’ series would be welcomed. Ideal items are school or sports groups, but any event will be considered as long as there are half a dozen or so people on the picture and all or most are named. If you have a picture that you think might fit the bill, call Brian Forsyth on 01241 436973 in the first instance or call into the office at 21 Market Place, Arbroath.
