Generous donation for Macmillan Appeal

Representatives of the Junior Crime Prevention Panel bought window locks for the Strathairlie community flat, Strathmore Avenue. The locks were bought at a discount from Ray Spink DIY, Keptie Road. In 1995 a cheque was presented to the Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund for the Angus Appeal at the Carnoustie shop at the bottom of Park Avenue.

The money was raised by Anita Butchart and Helen Ferrie who walked the West Highland Way.

The donation took the total pot raised by the Carnoustie shop for the Macmillan Appeal to £13,671.
