Lord Snooty's was a popular night spot and dining destination for many years in Carnoustie until it was shut down in X. At the moment the building, which sits at the Cross at the bottom of Queen Street is being redeveloped by DJ Laing into flats.

Lord Snooty’s, at the Cross, was a popular night spot, function suite and dining destination for many years in Carnoustie until it closed in 1995. Part of it was later the Zone youth club. Before it was Lord Snooty’s the site was Nicoll’s Luncheon and Tea Rooms, a popular choice for wedding receptions and then a Chinese restaurant. At the moment the building is being redeveloped by DJ Laing into flats
