Monifieth Amateur Dramatics are living up to their MAD moniker this season as they present their first show of the 2017 season, about a giant invisible rabbit.
‘Harvey’, by Mary Chase, is a comedy sure to tickle funny bones and warm hearts, and the cast and crew are hard at work in rehearsals ahead of show week.
Elwood (Phil McNicol) is a kind spirited chap who makes friends wherever he goes, but his best friend is Harvey, a six foot one-and-a-half-inch white rabbit that only Elwood can see and who is always getting him into a pickle.
Elwood’s sister Veta (Shelagh Phillips-Robertson) has had enough of this ‘Harvey nonsense’ and makes plans to end it.
MAD invite you to come along and see how the plot to this timeless classic unfolds.
The cast includes Cora Varney, Angela Taylor, Isaac J Devereux, Shona Smith, Steven S Armstrong, Wilma Low, John Hunter, Brian Thomson.
‘Harvey’ is directed by Sharon Bennett who has been hard at work with everything Harvey for this production.
The show will make you laugh, but not only that, Harvey is looking forward to seeing you at his show, even if you cannot see him!
