The Jellyman’s Daughter are guests at Montrose Folk Club in the Links Hotel, Montrose on Thursday, October 27.

They are rising stars of Americana Music and have been described as sounding like The Civil Wars or the Grammy-Winning duo of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.

The band are Emily Kelly on vocals, guitar and mandolin, Graham Coe on vocals and cello, backed by bassist, Paul Gilbody.

When Emily and Graham sing together, their harmonies squeeze the heart. They have created a new sound combining cello and acoustic guitar or mandolin with influences ranging from Bluegrass to Rock.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with The Jellyman’s Daughter on stage at 8pm. Entry: £8 payable at the door.
