A CARNOUSTIE woman has been honoured for 30 years dedicated to Girlguiding UK.
Trish Patullo was presented with a specially-designed broach in honour of her long service.
It was presented by Dinah Faulds, chief commissioner of Girlguiding Scotland during a ceremony at the recent Angus Girlguiding’s County annual general meeting.
Trish first became involved with guiding at the age of seven when she joined the Arbirlot Brownies, and continued as a volunteer on leaving the Guides.
Carnoustie District commissioner Irene Morrison said: “We have a great team of leaders, many of them with long service, but we also have a number of young leaders and that is very encouraging.”
Girlguiding UK offers girls and young women the chance to have fun and grow in confidence in a safe, girl-only space.
