A DIRECTOR of Arbroath based Squadron Prints, Ms Gill Howie, on Thursday presented a cheque for £2,012 to the Controller of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, Air Marshal Christopher Nickols CB CBE MA FRAeS, who was in Scotland for a short tour.

The money was raised through the sale of the Jubilee flypast prints, the 2012 RAF Red Arrow prints and Arbroath Spitfire memorabilia. The cheque presentation took place at The Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh.

Miss Howie said: “Throughout the year we have produced a number of items with the intention of raising money for this great charity.

“Many RAF Squadrons, stations and personnel have assisted us but special thanks must go to RAF Leuchars, The Red Arrows, The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the people of Arbroath and of course our local hero, Ms Lorraine Kelly.”
