Carnoustie Panbride Church and its minister will hold a very special service later this month.

In June this year Rev. Matthew Bicket (pictured) celebrated 25 years as minister of Carnoustie Panbride and to mark the occasion a special service with a twist has been arranged.

During his incumbency Rev. Bicket has baptised around 350 babies and children and they, along with their families, have been invited to return for the morning service on November 30, the first Sunday in Advent.

Following the service there will be a buffet lunch served in the Panbride Hall for all those in church that
morning.

Rev. Bicket said: “The service will be a wonderful opportunity to renew friendships and catch up with news of those who have been baptised.”

As part of the service, each person who has been baptised during these years, or a member of their family, will be given a small candle which will be brought forward to the chancel area
and lit.
