Tayside Police is appealing for information after rowing boats were set adrift and oars vandalised at Monikie Country Park overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday (April 29-30).
Officers are keen to trace a group of about eight males - aged in their mid to late teens - who were seen walking towards the north pond at about 9.45 p.m. on Tuesday.

At about 8.30 on Wednesday morning staff at the Angus Council-run country park discovered that around £200 worth of damage had been caused to boating equipment and several boats had been broken free of their moorings.

Anyone who was at, or near, the park between the times mentioned, or who has information which could assist with enquiries, should contact Tayside Police on 0845 600 5705.
