COLLISION IN CARNOUSTIE

A MAN was injured in a collision in Carnoustie last Wednesday, December 23.
The accident occurred at the junction of James Street and Thomas Street in the town which was badly affected by the heavy overnight snowfall.

A spokesperson for Tayside Police confirmed last Wednesday: "At around 7.30 a.m. this morning, a Renault Laguna and a Renault Megane collided in James Street at the junction with Thomas Street.

"The driver of the Laguna, a man, was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital with a suspected whiplash injury. The driver of the Megane, a woman, was treated at the scene for shock."
