THE VIEW towards Barry at Conchie's corner shows significant improvements in sightlines and white lines.



The high sandy embankments have been significantly reduced to improve visibility.

Angus Council is now investigating which type of fencing would be best to install to prevent the build-up of drifting sand at the bends which caused the road to narrow, centimetre by centimetre, over a period of years.

Work to improve safety has been undertaken by both Angus Council and the farmer whose field adjoins the bends.
