THE LAST Provost of Monifieth, Mr Ian Mortimer, has given up his post as chairman of the Monifieth Partnership after a tenure of over four years.

At the meeting in the Burgh Chambers on Tuesday evening, the new chairman, Dr Andrena McCormack, presented gifts to Mr Mortimer and his wife, June, in recognition of his service.
