Building is well under way on the site of the former Carnoustie Health Centre, where 17 dwellings are being constructed for Angus Housing Association.
It had originally been planned that the houses, in the affordable rental sector of the market, would be ready by October.
But Angus Housing's director, Bruce Forbes, told the Guide & Gazette that the likely completion date is now November.
Eleven of the dwellings are flats and there are six houses, one of which is designed specially for wheelchair access. All of the 17 have solar panel-powered hot water.
