After 18 years, Grange Primary School headteacher Eric Kydd retired at the end of term.

On Monday the entire school made a presentation to him in the hall. As our picture shows, Mr Kydd received a new set of golf clubs in a smart new bag and a giant card made by the pupils.

Also in the bag was an extra surprise - his favourite tipple with his tea and coffee, Kit Kat bars, two packets of them!
