AFTER a summer break, Mini Music Makers will return to Carnoustie next Friday, August 22.
The classes, run by the National Youth Choir of Scotland, are designed to open up the world of music to young children aged up to three years and their parent/carers through singing, rhymes and bouncing games.

Puppets, parachutes and percussion instruments are used to ensure the emphasis is on fun.

The Carnoustie classes are on Friday afternoons at The Scout Hall on Links Avenue. The birth to 18 months class runs from 1 to 1.40 p.m.; and the 18 months to three years is from 1.50 to 2.30 p.m.

The leader for both classes is Judith Linn, a primary music specialist, as well as a member of music staff with National Youth Choir of Scotland's Dundee Area Choir.

Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The first block of seven week classes costs £21. For more information, contact Catherine Williams on 0141 287 2943, or visit www.nycos.co.uk
