THE ANNUAL general meeting of the Carnoustie branch of the Scottish National Party took place on Tuesday evening.
The meeting was chaired by guest speaker Arbroath East and Lunan councillor Donald Morrison.
The following office bearers were elected: convener, Ed Oswald; vice-convener, Patricia Millar; secretary, Irene Hughes; treasurer, Robin Graham; political organiser, Jessie Mackie; membership secretary, Una Wardrop.
Mr Oswald thanked office-bearers for their contribution over the past year and pointed members in the direction of a year of hard work, taking in the general election and then the lead up to the Scottish parliament elections in 2011.
