THINKING DAY SERVICE IN MONIFIETH

MONIFIETH Guides and Scouts attended the annual World Thinking Day and Founder's Day Service in St Rule's Church on Sunday.
This also marked the Centenary of Guiding and 90 years of Guiding in Monifieth. Scout Leader Murray Nicoll presented District Commissioner Linda Duff with a plaque from the Scouts to commemorate the anniversaries.

This year the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts, Trefoil Guild and Leaders joined with the congregation for the morning service.

Young Leader Emily Short and Brownie Louise Allan did a reading and a prayer and the renewal of Promises was led by Rainbow Leader Katrina Johnston and Cub Leader David Tennant.
