THE WINNER of the Carnoustie Business Association Christmas Window Display competition was Angie Smith of Treats and Treasure, High Street.
Because of various circumstances Angie only received her award this week, from Association chairman Gary Miller of the Floor Studio.

This is a new business in the town and Angie opened her shop at the end of November. She then had to put up with scaffolding almost obscuring her shop for the first four weeks she was open.

The judge was Ian Sommerville who owns the internet shopping company U-Chuz, and is also the local chapter chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses.
