Manager of the Spar store in Barry Road Agnes Rae picks up the award.
The awards recognise excellence across the convenience retail sector and the Carnoustie shop saw off competition from hundreds of stores across the UK to win the accolade.
Store manager, Agnes Rae was on hand at the glittering ceremony at Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond on Thursday to pick up the award on behalf of the store.
Sandy Wilkie, sales and marketing director at Robert Wiseman Dairies said: "The stores in the national finals represent the cream of convenience retailing and the Spar on Barry Road, Carnoustie is very deserving of its place amongst the top 28 convenience stores in the country.
