A PROGRESS report on survey questionnaires currently circulating throughout the town was presented at the monthly meeting of Monifieth Community Centre Steering Group held in the Public Library recently.
The group is hoping that with the support of residents and the many cross-generation organisations in the burgh, the survey figures will indicate what type of building and services will meet the leisure requirements of the community.

The steering group membership now stands at 12, which is in accord with the constitution accepted for the committee's charitable organisations registration.

The group is representative of the Monifieth community and can only be seen as managing their project if information, co-operation and support is made freely available to them.

Chair Margaret Copland said: "Come on Monifieth. We have got the centre project this far. Now we need you to move forward if that`s what is needed for the benefit of the population."

The group can be contacted through the House of Memories, High Street.
