BROTHERS Callum and Thomas Degabriele, from Broughty Ferry, have raised over £100 for charity by making and selling pottery at Grange Primary School's summer fete.
The brothers, 11 and nine respectively, attended Saturday morning pottery classes for two years before deciding to sell their creations.

They were assisted in their efforts at the fete by friend Jim Wylie (11) who set up signs and the fete stall and helped in selling the pottery.

The money raised by the trio went to the Paediatric Diabetes Education Fund based in the paediatric outpatients' clinic in Ninewells Hospital.

Jim's sister, Alex, who is diabetic and a regular at the clinic, inspired the boys in their efforts.

The trio said that they were "chuffed" by the results of their endeavours and that they hadn't ruled out doing more charitable work in the future.
