Hurtle downhill on a mountain bike, hit the target using laser clay shooting technology or watch some spectacular tricks from Showcase the Streets at Angus Council’s ‘Commonwealth Games community fun day’ on Sunday.

Convener of the Angus Games Steering Group, Councillor Jeanette Gaul said: “This event promises to be an amazing family fun day featuring some of the 17 Commonwealth Games sports. With a variety of events and performances, there really will be something for everyone.”

After working up an appetite tuck in to a barbecue, or get involved with a number of fun competitions and challenges that will be taking place, all to the backdrop of North Angus Radio.

The event will be at Carnoustie High School from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
