MONIFIETH Amateur Dramatics invites you to join the cast of ‘Table Manners’ by Alan Ayckbourn to enjoy a ‘feast’ of the most entertaining squabbling, eating, drinking and fondling that you’re ever likely to see.

Believing it his mission in life to make women happy by showering them with love, Norman makes the most of every opportunity to seduce his sister-in-law Annie, charm his brother-in-law’s wife Sarah and woo his wife Ruth, during a disastrous weekend.

‘Table Manners’ is the popular dining-room part of Alan Ayckbourn’s trio of comedy plays, known together as ‘The Norman Conquests.’

The cast of six play out a complex set of relationships: two husbands, two wives, a single woman and her suitor, a brother, two sisters, a control freak, an off-hand Chauvinist, an independent, a straw in the wind, a strong silent type and, of course, Norman, who just can’t see what the problem is.

All somehow packed into six characters, it’s a real culinary feast.

The show opened last night (Thursday) and continues at 7.30 p.m. tonight (Friday) and tomorrow; and also on March 24, 25 and 26, all at the MAD group’s own theatre.

Tickets, £8 and £6 concession, are available from Troup the Chemist, Monifieth or Yorkshire Building Society, Broughty Ferry. Block Bookings should call Christian on 01382 535003.
