BROUGHTY Ferry harbour will play host to an ancient breed of aquatic guests this weekend.
Members of Ye Amphibious Ancients Bathing Association are taking part in a 24-hour relay in preparation for a forthcoming race.
The swimmers will meet for a briefing tomorrow (Saturday) at 4 p.m. before each of the participants takes their turn at the four-mile course.
It is expected that each member will complete either a 30 minute or one hour leg of the relay before finishing at 4.30 p.m. on Sunday.
This is intended to help them prepare for a gruelling distance race on August 6 between Broughty Ferry and St Andrews.
