Angus Leisure Art group is holding an exhibition in The Gallery, Town House Museum Brechin for the second year running.

This year the exhibition, with more than seventy paintings on display, is running from June 6-8 and admission is free. It has been organised by Lorna McCall, who has attended the Brechin class for several years.

A spokesman for the group who attend classes in Brechin, Montrose and Kirriemuir, said the students were from all walks of life and all live in the Angus area.

“In the Gallery you will find voters slips for visitors to determine best in exhibition, with the winner receiving a voucher for £50 from a popular art materials supplier,” said the spokesman.

She added they hoped to exceed the 500-plus visitors of last year. The exhibition is open Tuesdays to Saturdays 10am to 5pm, with disabled access and car parking close by.
