A GROUP of local students from Angus College raised £150 at the recent family fun fayre for the Brittle Bone Society.
Rebecca Winton and Kelly Mcallan, from Arbroath, along with Natalie Burgess, Carnoustie, who all study administration, arranged a climbing tower challenge at the fayre with the help of Sarah Ironside from the Army Cadet Force.
The chief executive of the Brittle Bone Society, Patricia Osborne, was delighted with the girls’ efforts.
She said: “We would like to thank the students who organised this event which has raised so much financial help for the Brittle Bone Society.
“Without the generosity of local people like them, our job at the charity would be much more difficult, in raising the capital we need. The girls can be sure that this money will go to a very good project and we thank them.”
