Grab a foodie delight at Arbroath’s first ever Fish and Farmers market which will be supported by local business and community groups on June 27.

Supporting the line-up of delicious local delicacies will be a host of entertainments from line dancers to displays from Warehouse Gym and Best Defence.

The demos will give you a chance to let the all-day fish tasting from the Bellrock go down as well as some intriguing “Sea Tucker Trials” set up by the Old Boatyard.

There will be a craft fair in Signal Tower courtyard as well as a bouncy castle and slides for the young ones.

There will be a military presence at the fair with a stall from the Royal Marines Association and military displays as well as a lifeboat launch and rescue.

Aiming to keep this market focus on healthy food and living, organiser Kevin Smith said: “We are still looking for one big food van, preferably serving healthy food, a coffee/drinks vendor, and anyone else who would like a fresh produce stall.

“We would also ask that if there are some local farmers/producers unable to take a stall on the day but willing to participate by way of donating auction prizes, to please contact Kevin Smith on 07847 188143, arbourfest@gmail.com or email Gavin Nicol at nicolg@westlinkspark.co.uk

“We are also looking to get in touch with a sea cadet band or anyone who would like to perform as there’s still lots of room on stage and tips on getting hold of a PA and generator would be welcome.”
