MONIFIETH Parish Church’s popular Bake and Book stall has continued successfully over the past two months from the halls in High Street.
Home baking, particularly the freshly made pancakes, continues to attract many customers to the stalls and last week alone over £750 was raised for church funds.
The hall is also open for customers to browse through the books on sale and many other items which have included tents, bric-a-brac, jigsaws, train sets and other things too numerous to mention. The stall has a further five Saturdays to run.
The organiser of the event, Malcolm Bell, has been delighted with the response from the public and hopes the support of the community continues.
