The organisers of the Big Gig Weekend at The Open bar in Carnoustie have thanked everyone who took part in making the event a great success.
Mixing live music and a special custom car and bike show on the Saturday, there was plenty on offer.
There was a good response of custom vehicle owners and spectators who turned out in force on the Saturday morning to see the different mod-jobs on display on the village green.
A spokesperson for The Open Bar said: “The weekend was a great success and we would like to thank everyone who supported us especially everyone who brought along their custom cars and bikes and the bands and artists who came along to play some fantastic live music.
“We were very pleased with the amount of money that we managed to raise over the weekend and when it has all been collected together the full amount will be presented in due course to MacMillan Cancer Support.”
The bar also took part in the Macmillan ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ and raised £197 for the cancer charity.
