Boys’ Brigade mark success

THE FIRST Monifieth Boys’ Brigade company section completed their session with their annual display on Friday evening.

Parents and friends were invited, along with the chief guest, The Rev. Dorothy Anderson, to enjoy looking back on some of the highlights of the year. 

Gregor Ramsay, the company’s most senior boy was presented with his Queen’s Badge, the 53rd in the Company since 1983.

The Boys’ Brigade is now looking forward to the summer camp, which will be the 25th time they have visited Carrbridge, Inverness-shire.

Other prize-winners included - Best Recruit, Greg Fleming, Best NCO, Gregory Chaplain; Best Squad, Squad Two; first aid, Andrew Young and Lewis Murphy; Best Drilled Boy, Ryan Barrie; Bob McArtney Rosebowl, Gregor Ramsay and President’s Bade, Timothy Ness and Ondra Vesely.
