A group of nine Angus people using mental health services from the community mental health team in Tayside are celebrating completion of a ‘Branching Out’ woodland course.

The group took part in the course at Crombie Country Park with staff from Angus Council Ranger Service.

The first of its kind in the area, the Branching Out programme delivers mental, physical and social benefits for people with mental health issues by helping with confidence building, increasing physical activity and greater independence.

Each of the participants was presented with a Discovery Level John Muir Award on completion of the course.
