On Wednesday morning, members of Carnoustie Probus Club attended Burnside Primary School where they were entertained by the primary six school choir and soloists with a show entitled ‘Burnside’s Got Talent’.

Under the direction of headteacher Dawn Hendry and deputy head Jackie Goodwin, this performance consisted of drumming, solo singing, an Irish jig and highland dancing.

The entertainment then concluded with ‘two pupils’ (alias staff members Karen Johnstone and Fiona Joss) leading the choir and club members in a rendition of ‘The 12 days of Christmas’ followed by a medley of other Christmas songs.

At the close, Leslie Hunter proposed a well earned vote of thanks for a first class performance by all who took part.
