A CARNOUSTIE woman has been recognised for her winning ways with customers in the financial world.
Kali Whyte, based at the Dundee branch of Skipton Building Society, received the company’s prestigious ‘customer advisor of the year’ award for the northern region at its annual conference.
The award recognises her achievement of the highest levels of success in the key areas of business. This includes providing the highest standards of advice on savings and mortgages and the highest level of customer service.
Kali said: “I couldn’t believe it when my name was called out at the awards evening. Our customers already know what a friendly team we have here at the branch and a few of them have already congratulated me for winning this award.
“I love working as part of the team in the Dundee branch and this award has really topped everything that I’ve achieved.”
Derek Whittet, Dundee branch manager, said: “I’m delighted that Kali has been awarded our region’s top customer advisor award. And every day Kali puts in so much effort to make sure our customers receive the highest of service. Kali is a great member of our team, and the whole branch is pleased that she won this award.”
THE HM Inspectorate of Education report on Panmure Playgroup was released on Wednesday with the children being described as “happy, motivated and well behaved”.
The report goes on to state that the nursery has an “Interesting and stimulating learning environment” and that there are “very positive relationships between staff and parents and carers”.
No further visits will be made in connection with this inspection. The Playgroup has agreed to continue the development of the curriculum with national guidance and to develop more effective procedures for the tracking of the children’s progress. View the full report online at www.hmie.gov.uk
