A BROUGHTY Ferry councillor has welcomed the refurbishment of an ugly underpass.
Councillor Derek Scott praised the new look pedestrian railway underpass on Brook Street which reopened recently.
The underpass was closed on January 9 while work to create a new entrance for the railway station took place.
Dundee City Council took the opportunity to clean and repair the passageway, removing the narrow raised walkway, installing new flooring and new lighting.
Mr Scott said: “It now looks much better, however I noticed that some bits still need a clean.”
