A fire-hit Carnoustie business is getting back on its feet after taking up residence in its new home.

The Carnoustie Country Larder and Perfect Dry Cleaning Service owned by town councillor Bill Bowles moved from the gutted building at 18 High Street to 69 High Street before finally settling at 44 High Street. Bill said: “We’ve had a hard time, it’s been a difficult four months trying to get everything back up and running but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now. I’m pretty confident we can get it back to where we were and we hope that the support of the people of Carnoustie continues.” In fact, with his new dry cleaning unit on the Panmure Industrial Estate Bill is now looking to expand the business with commercial contracts.
