Minister visits young engineers

AN ARBROATH based engineer training company played host to the Minister for Youth Employment today (Monday).

Angela Constance MSP was at Angus Training Group to speak to staff and apprentices this afternoon to get an insight into their success which has this year seen a record intake.

Speaking at the premises of Angus Training Group on Catherine Street the Minister said: “This year Angus Training Group have the highest level of apprentices in 30 years.

“There are 67 young people in there who are in the first year of an engineering apprenticeship who are enthusiastic and enthused about their future work and future study.”
