CARNOUSTIE community groups received their own copies of the CBA shopping survey last week.
The full results of the Carnoustie Business Association survey of 5,000 households were handed over to representatives of the various groups at Monday night’s community council meeting at Carnoustie High School.
Councillors Helen Oswald and Brian Boyd distributed copies to the police, Carnoustie Development Group, Carnoustie Theatre Club, Carnoustie Crime Prevention and Carnoustie Centre Action Group.
The survey made several interesting points, including highlighting a number of potential business opportunities and community projects.
It is hoped that the groups will mull over the results and provide their own observations and input.
Peter Burke, chair of the CBA, who compiled all 1,521 returned forms said: “We are hoping the groups will add their own comments to their copies of the results and from there we can formulate an action plan.
“There will be another open meeting once Councillors Oswald and Boyd have had the appropriate responses.”
In the meantime, Mr Burke would like to encourage residents to join him at the CBA meetings on the first Wednesday of the month in the Kinloch Arms Hotel at 5.30 p.m.
