Businesses looking to grow will benefit from attending one or more of a range of Business Gateway seminars to be held this winter.
Covering all aspects of running a successful company, from finance to marketing, the free workshop programme aims to enhance entrepreneurs’ skills and help them create strategies to develop their businesses.
Business owners can now also receive support and advice on the go, with the quick, free and easy to use ‘MyBusiness’ app from Business Gateway.
The app is packed with useful guides, video tutorials, case studies and a planning tool that businesses can use to schedule and organise all their tasks to help them run more effectively.
Running through October and November, the winter workshop programme takes place at Angus Centre for Enterprise, Angus College, Keptie Road, Arbroath.
Seminars on offer are: finance – Wednesday, October 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. which will look at managing a profit and loss account, working capital, different sources of finance and the different legal structures of a business.
Awareness – Wednesday, November 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. will provide an opportunity to network with other business owners and will also highlight useful sources of information, advice and guidance.
Marketing – Wednesday, November 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. which will examine the role of marketing in your business, how to identify target customers, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the competition and how to use market research.
