Cabaret youngsters take a break

The junior ensemble took a well earned break in the summer sunshine on Sunday from rehearsing their part in the forthcoming Comrie Cabaret by Carnoustie Musical Society.

This is the third year of the society’s autumn cabaret show and members hope that it will be a sell out success again.

President Susan Kydd said: “This is our centenary year and the show has old and new sections which span the club’s repertoire. It’s great to see the children being so enthusiatic about musical theatre. Their singing of ‘Annie’ and ‘Flash Bang Wallop’ is bound to be a hit.”

The Show runs all week commencing Monday, September 10, in the Comrie Hall Carnoustie. Pictured are, from left - Amy Burns, Khalid Bjeirni, Sophie Waggot, Aimee Stanton, Cerys Fitzgerald, Kelly Barclay, Bethany Craigie and Gina Fenton.
