Canine Capers’ course success

Carnoustie Canine Capers have congratulated all who passed their practical assessment at the Canine First Aid Course on Saturday. The course was presented by Pauline Waller of K9 Harmony It was a long day but everyone learned a lot and had plenty opportunity to do some hands on practical work in a supportive friendly environment. Attendees seemed to enjoy it gauging by the laughter at many points throughout the day. Thanks to Pauline Smith for providing the refreshments, Scott for helping out, Mary and Colin Roberts for opening up the hall and having it all cosy. The Angus Council Community Grant Scheme allowed Canine Capers to subsidise this course which is the first of three. The next one is on March 29 and third one on April 19, both at the Philip Hall which proved to be an ideal venue. Hall hire for all three courses has been sponsored by Wallace Vets The certificate gained at the end of the day will act as evidence for anyone who is doing the KCAI (Kennel Club Accredited Instructor Scheme).
