Royal Mail operations in Carnoustie could be facing major changes.
The Guide & Gazette understands that staff were told today (Tuesday) that changes were under consideration by Royal Mail.
The sorting office located at Queen Street, just off the town’s High Street, could be closed by Royal Mail and operations moved elsewhere.
One of the suggestions could see staff relocated to the Dundee East sorting office at Ivory Place, West Pitkerro Industrial Estate, behind Sainsbury’s Claypotts store.
This might also mean that services, such as customer parcel collection, would also be relocated.
