A trio of Carnoustie cadets will be heading off to Belgium on Thursday (October 16) to take part in a series of parades and visits to commemorate the beginning of World War One.

They will join comrades from the rest of the Angus and Dundee Battalion Army Cadet Force in travelling to Ypres, where they will carry out a number of duties including a special service at the Menin Gate.
