STALLHOLDERS are in the throes of preparing for the forthcoming Carnoustie Fayre next month.
The event on December 1 has been organised the Carnoustie Development Group (CDG) and will be held in the Cadet, Philip and Comrie halls and the Carnoustie Gala Committee will be running a cafe.
The CDG has been fortunate to get Blazin’ Brass successors Con Fuoco Brass to provide light-hearted Christmas background music.
The fayre will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the band will play outside each hall weather permitting, and inside if it is not.
Member of the CDG and organiser Councillor Brian Boyd said: “We have had a superb response from handmade craft and Christmas goods producers and this Fayre promises to match the quality set over the previous couple of years by the Carnoustie Business Association.
“We are looking forward to raising the spirits of the folks in the burgh and helping them to forget some of the doom and gloom we continue to read about in the papers and see on TV.
“So come along, get in the Christmas spirit, and enjoy yourselves on Saturday December 1.”
