The stars of Scottish television will be returning to Arbroath this year for Angus Council’s annual panto.
Direct from ‘River City’, Carmen Pieraccini is returning to Arbroath to appear at the Webster Memorial Theatre in the family favourite ‘Cinderella’ this Christmas.
A young unloved girl, Cinders (Isabelle Joss) dreams of going to the Prince’s Ball but her ludicrous step sisters will not allow it.
However her best pal Buttons has a plan that involves a kind fairy godmother and a pair of glass slippers.
‘Cinderella’ by John Binnie, has it all - romance and slapstick, beautiful sets and costumes, and invigorating songs and dance.
John Binnie, writer and director of last year’s hugely successful production, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ said: “I am thrilled to be returning to Angus and to the Webster Memorial Theatre.
“Again we have an amazing strong cast of actors and young local dancers for this year’s production of Cinderella.
“The show promises to be good old fashioned fun and top-class professional family entertainment.”
Cast includes: Carmen Pieraccini as Fairy Multi-task, (Kelly-Marie Adams - ‘River City’), Isabelle Joss as Cinderella, (‘Silent Witness’), Nathan Byrne as the Prince and Graham Crammond as Ugly Sister Bangers.
Tickets for ‘Cinderella’ are on sale now. Contact the Webster Memorial Theatre Box Office on 01241 435800. Tuesday – Friday 1pm – 6pm, Saturday 10am – 3pm.
