ANGUS College’s charity shop celebrated its first birthday on Wednesday lunchtime.
The shop and the student staff, who’ve been marking the event with three days of sales and special offers, cut a commemorative cake and hosted a party.
Coordinator Katie Anderson said: “The shop has been a huge success. Not only have our students gained retail and customer service skills, they have also made a huge financial profit which has been used to enhance learner activities.
“This weeks’s ‘Spring Super Sale’ has been the icing on the cake, as it were, with the students making a healthy profit and clearing out the shop at the same time ready for new stock”.
