Council to tackle repairs

ANGUS Council was expected to approve a number of repair jobs to recreation facilities throughout the county at a meeting yesterday (Thursday).

At the time of going to press a report was due to be submitted to the authority’s neighbourhood services committee asking it to note a number of proposed small projects.

The report related to the main areas of work in relation to the 2013/14 Recreation, Repair and Renewal Fund.

It would address a number of issues including furniture refurbishment at Monifieth Blue Seaway, planting and entrance improvements at Carnoustie’s Shanwell Cemetery and drainage at Hospitalfield Park among others.
